ARCOSA Southern Aggregates is searching for a Senior Production Worker for our Amite West, LA plant.
In this role you will support a positive safety culture in a dredge environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards.
As a Production Worker, you will be part of the production team in the production of aggregate materials.
Arcosa is a leading producer and distributor in the Western and Southwestern U.

of natural aggregates, including expanded shale and clay, crushed stone, sand and gravel, asphalt rock, and other products.
What you'll do:
Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations Perform tasks assigned in a safe and effective manner Perform all necessary work area inspections and document discrepancies.
This includes any heavy equipment checklist/inspections Be able to operate front end loader / skid steer Perform all task in a safe manner which includes wearing proper personal protective equipment and follow safety regulations established by this company Perform other duties as required Keep water pumped running to maintain fresh water to the plant Grease and inspect the plant Maintain the scales clean Keep tail pulley and catwalk cleaned on stockpile belts Keep all above areas clean Grease equipment in all areas of production What you'll need:
Prompt, regular and predictable attendance The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders and catwalks up to 60 feet as required and lift weights up to 60 pounds.
The ability to work in an outdoor environment (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy) Remove logs from cooler On the job training Ability to operate front end loader / bobcat Recommended Skills Construction Plant Operation Heavy Equipment Personal Protective Equipment Safety Principles Scales Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
